Tingles Bakehouse

We were so excited to stop at a roadside bakery but were MORTIFIED by the prices. $9.50 for a pie without any reasonably priced options except the $5.00 small sausage roll. We realised that we had actually stopped here a few years earlier and not bought anything due to the prices so thought we should bite the bullet. Pies weren’t bad but not epic like the price suggested. The grounds were nice though and the coffee price was okay.

The best place on earth . Best athmosphere due to very good coffee, delicious cake, nice little gifts, good hosts, wonderfull garden and flowers . The birds agree . They were all over the place giving it a special touch.

Amazing pies and sweet treats. Gluten free options available. BEST COFFEE!!! All to be enjoyed in beautiful gardens. Don't forget to stop in on your way along the South Coast.

Very nice pies, cakes and cookies. Good coffee as well. Beautiful garden to sit in. Fairly expensive but worth it for a treat.

I liked the green setting, peaceful place, popular pies. To have the coffee and tea served in paper mugs takes down the impression and taste. Hope they will change that!

6 stars for this wonderfully well hidden bakehouse located just before the valley of giants from Walpole-Denmark. Handcrafted and delicious, this bakehouse has one of the best honey cake I've ever tasted and their homemade pies are also a must try.

Wow! The best meat pie I’ve ever had, it was so delicious...my husband loved the sausage roll... the coffee and cakes were nice as well... a bit pricey though

A lovely location, friendly staff and good food... but I must be honest about the pies. We had the lamb shank and the jarrah smoked beef pies. Yes, they were good but both the base and top were puff pastry, maybe it was homemade but I don't think so, no shortcrust at all is definitely a shortcoming. The meat to vegie ratio was skewed heavily in favour of the less expensive vegies too. They were definitely well flavoured with good lamby and smokey taste but promised more. At $9:50 per pie I want something much better than either of these. I recommend saving your $$$ and going to a real bakery like Don's Deli and Bakery in Wagin where I had a great pepper steak pie a few days earlier.
