Purchased milk and was proceeded to have my accent mimicked and humiliated by the young blonde lady at the cashier while waiting for my coffee. Never been so insulted in Australia. Absolutely avoid this horrendous place...By the way, it seems to be a constant issue if you read the reviews.

Cashier was very condescending from the moment I rocked up to pay for my pastry. Not once, but on 3 counts because of some card difficulties.Learn some manners. Not hard to be humble.For that alone, I won't be back.Pity, as the other staff behind the pastry counter was pleasant and the sausage roll was pretty good.

This used to be our favourite local but the new ownership has changed that. The new layout of the tables and furniture meant my wife has to wait outside with the pram. Pies are more expensive and the lotto has gone. I can't recall the price of the breaky toastie but it's easily half the weight now, super disappointing. I really hope these are all just teething issues but it's lost its family friendly vibe and feels like it's just trying to be another cafe.

The community is so lucky to have the Cambridge Corner Store in our neighbourhood! It us run by a wonderful family who know their customers by name. We walk there most days for our morning coffees (which always taste amazing) and sometimes get the time to sit in the store and have a home made meal. Speaking of meals, they make the most delicious sausage rolls and pies, plus plump family pies that are perfect for dinner with some salad. Lasagne, curries, biryani among a few other things on offer to have a home cooked meal without effort. In winter, they always have a selection of soups. They bake their own sourdough bread which is delicious! Today, they delivered a selection of food to my house because we are isolating. They care for their customers and give us all a great experience every time we walk through the door. Thanks Dave, Simone and all the wonderful people who work for you! ♥
